Meet The Doctors
George A. Richardson, M.D.
George A. Richardson, MD is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon with added Certification and ReCertification in Surgery of the Hand by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Richardson earned his Medical Degree and performed a Categorical Rotating Internship at the University of Texas School of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He completed a General Surgery Residency at Marshall University School of Medicine in Huntington, WV and Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Texas Tech University in El Paso, TX. Dr. Richardson opted for Fellowship Training in Orthopedic Hand Surgery under the direction of Dr. Michael B. McElroy in Kansas City. In addition to practicing orthopedic surgery and hand surgery, Dr. Richardson serves as a Non-Tenured Clinical Assistant Professor and Orthopedic Consultant at the College of Medicine at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. He is a former Assistant Professor at the University of Kansas Medical Center, Department of Orthopaedic Surgery in Kansas City, KS. Dr. Richardson is an Active Member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, and member of Texas Orthopaedic Association & Texas Medical Association. His research regarding hand surgery is published is several peer-reviewed medical journals.

Randolph D. Gibbs II, M.D.
I am a board certified hand surgeon and I have recently moved from Fargo, ND where I have practiced hand surgery for approximately 5 years. I am originally from Ohio. I received my undergraduate degree from Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA and attended medical school at the University of Southern Illinois in Springfield, IL. I completed my general surgery residency training at The Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY and completed my hand fellowship training through the department of orthopedics at the State University of New York in Buffalo, NY. I have a wife, Karyssa, who is a board certified family physician and we have three wonderful daughters named Brooklyn, Lexi and Maddison.
I specialize in treating conditions and injuries that effect the hand, wrist and elbow. Carpal tunnel syndrome, trigger finger, DeQuervain’s tendonitis, Dupuytren’s disease, finger, hand and wrist fractures/dislocations, compressive neuropathies of the ulnar nerve at the elbow (cubital tunnel syndrome), lateral and medial epicondylitis of the elbow, tendon, nerve and blood vessel injuries, ganglion cysts, syndactyly and TFCC tears are some of the most common problems I treat in the upper extremity. I treat hand and wrist conditions that may affect patients of all ages from children to adults.
I believe in practicing evidence-based medicine and enjoy helping my patient’s make informed decisions regarding their upper extremity care.
